Very simple and delicious way to increase the health of your gut flora is with a natural yogurt. It is even more fun when you make it yourself. 2 Ingredient Coconut Yogurt
1 can of coconut milk
2 probiotic capsules
1 mason jar
This literally takes 5 minutes to prepare. To begin with, pour coconut milk into your mason jar or a glass bowl. Secondly, remove the powder from the probiotics capsules and stir it into the coconut milk. Cover the jar with the paper towel and leave it in the warm dark place for 2-3 days, stirring it daily. That’s it! The first batch will not be as creamy and more like a liquid yogurt. Save 1/4 of the yogurt for the next batch and add another can of coconut milk. This time you will not need to add probiotic capsules as the yogurt will get fermented with the bacteria from the remaining yogurt. Repeat the same process by covering the jar with the paper towel and leaving it in the dark and warm place for the next 2-3 days. This time the yogurt will be much creamier.
You could use it:
as a base for your smoothies
eat it with a granola and fruits for your breakfast
as a salad dressing
instead of a custard on your deserts
with the pancakes and fruits in the morning
instead of a sour cream
as a savoury snack or dip for your vegetables
